Voice detection switches it on automatically whenever you're using the phone. Then you can adjust 4 parameters of the incoming audio to suit your individual hearing. First, increase basic volume up to +30dB. Next, adjust the treble and bass characteristics of the caller's voice to the best possible tone for you to hear. Finally, if the caller still sounds faint, press the 'Boost' button to add an extra +10dB.
