We believe this UK-made armchair provides the optimum solution for people with limited physical mobility who spend much of their day sitting. Every aspect of the design focuses on comfort and assistance. Orthopaedically shaped to provide maximum postural support, it has a supersoft fibre buttoned back cushion, an extra-high head rest and a high level of lumbar support. The deep-padded seat cushions are slightly raised at the back to give extra lift when rising to your feet. At the same time, the carved 'knuckle' arm ends provide an easy ergonomic grip for people with impaired manual strength to pull themselves up. The construction is meticulous with a solid hardwood frame, arms and legs all held together with proper mortice and tenon joints, then glued and screwed for extra strength.
