For anyone who's unsteady on their feet and needs support for walking, it spells real independence when out and about or on shopping trips. When used for walking indoors or out, its pivoting wheels make it very manoeuvrable and the ergonomic 'arthritis-friendly' loop brakes stop it on a sixpence with little pressure. If a rest is needed, the brakes lock and the large padded seat and supportive foam-covered backrest provide a stable, comfortable place to sit. And if bringing provisions back from the supermarket, you'll find the under-slung shopping bag holds plenty. Best of all, the whole thing cleverly folds for storage at home or in a car.
