When you're ensconced in its luxurious pocket-sprung embrace, a further press of the button simultaneously raises the footrest and reclines the back to whatever angle you wish, right down to a virtually horizontal 180° sleeping position with your head just a little raised for comfort. Safety is also paramount. In the event of a mains power failure, a battery backup means you're not left stranded, and a pressure switch automatically reverses the motor if anything's trapped in the mechanism.
